She was born on November 6, 1930 in Memphis, TN however spent most of her life in Jacksonville and graduated from Fletcher High School in 1949. A private memorial service will be held on Friday August 23, 2019 at 11am at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. So very sorry to hear of Janice's passing. I will always remember her quick wit, warm smile and her charming southern hospitality. I know I speak for the Compton family that we have considered her family for years and will miss her dearly. Condolences to Lon, Kathy and Karen.
