Janice Goss Cipriano, born on April 11, 1951, in Portland, Maine, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, in Boscawen, New Hampshire.

Janice was the daughter of George Goss and Dorothy Fox and was predeceased by her brother, Richard Goss. She graduated from Portland High School and went on to earn a nursing degree from Westbrook College in 1978. A lifelong learner, Janice later pursued a degree in Art History and became credentialed as a certified case manager and legal nurse.

Janice was known for her warmth and generosity. An excellent cook, she always had a pot of sauce or soup ready for visitors and found joy in helping others, offering meals or a place to stay to those in need. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and for a time ran her own jewelry business, Beadginnings, where she created meaningful keepsakes by crafting beaded bracelets and chaplets from flowers of special occasions.

Above all, Janice cherished time spent with friends and family. She is survived by her son, Anthony D. Cipriano III, his wife Jane, and her two grandchildren, Anthony James and Julia Rose of Epsom, New Hampshire; as well as her nephew Kristofer Goss, his wife Kim, and their three daughters, Zoe, Lily, and Sara of Falmouth, Maine.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 30th at 10 a.m. at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Maine, followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery.

Janice's kindness and compassion touched many lives. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.

Janice was a very special person. We were great friends through grammar, junior and high school. We were inseparable. Life took that away from us. We did however get to see each other several times and Im glad for that. I know her memories will live on in me as they will with her son, Rusty, his wife and her grandchildren. I just wish she had more time. Rest Jan, I hope to see you again in another life. Love you, Best Friends forever, Mary Joyce
