Janice M. Lees, 80, of Orion, went to be with the Lord January 12, 2010 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Beulah Presbyterian Church, Orion. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. Orion. Memorials may be made to Beulah Presbyterian Church. Janice was born May 17, 1929 in Moline to Lewis and Mildred (Chaney) Olson. She married Glenn W. Lees on April 7, 1947 in Kansas City, Mo. He preceded her in death on Janauary 5, 1997. Janice was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed sewing, music cooking and baking. She enjoyed making breakfast pizza for the former Corner Express, Orion. She was also a World War Mother, a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by Sons Tom (Yvonne) Lees San Carlos, AZ Gerald (Jeanine) Lees Orion Dan (Jennifer) Lees Orion Grandchildren Sonya, Nicole, Jeremy, Aron, Addy and Michael Great grandchildren William and Michael Sister Elizabeth Seaholm Moline Best friend Velma Braman She was preceded in death by parents, husband, granddaughter Alicia Lees and brother Gene Olson.
