I had the distinct pleasure of serving with Jan twice. She was a wonderful human being, a superb and caring nurse and a proud Mom to her kids. Though I had not her since about 2002, I'll always remember her wonderful Southern charm and will forever appreciate her care for her patients and co-workers. RIP Jan.

My heart is filled with sadness with the recent notification of Janice passing. She was a person that always gave selfless service to all. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Janice will truly be missed. My prayers and condolences are with her family.

My heart goes out to you all, Mike, Christian, Clinton and Gene. Janice and I graduated from EBHS together, and even then I admired her ambition, her intelligence, but most of all her compassion. She obviously retained these attributes throughout her life, and it was an honor to teach her children, meet her husband and renew our friendship while teaching art at Dublin School. I am deeply saddened by this loss, but she left a legacy of compassion that will continue to trickle down to others for many years to come. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers in the difficult weeks to come.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Janice while working the night shift as a fellow cardiac nurse practitioner. I found out early on how incredibly intelligent Janice was, and that if you werent promoting care and compassion for the patients she didnt waste time with you- had nothing but the best possible care for her patients in mind at all times. Her passion for her profession was always apparent and I will cherish the many professional encounters that led to friendly, warm conversations. She was always positive, always encouraging- truly was a privilege to have worked alongside her. Our prayers and thoughts go out to her husband, kids, and family during this time.

Janice will be greatly missed. She had a wonderful personality, so proud of her work, and did it so well. Although we were on different cardiology teams, she and I could always communicate, and at times commiserate on our work. She was a true angel, and my heart goes out to her family and other friends. I'm very saddened by the loss of Janice on this earth. She was a wonderful, wonderful lady. She was so accomplished and had such a gift of reaching out to anyone needing help. Always bringing sunshine and a sense of security to those around her. I'm sure our Lord said "Well done, my child" when she reached Heaven's door. My deepest condolences go out to the family. I will always hold dear the memories of Janice. She always had a lot of compassion for you. She always wanted to help you. She always had a smile no matter what was going on around her. She loved the Lord and she Loved her family. She dedicated her life to helping others. She knew how to treat people with love and encouraged them to be all they could be. Janice was so proud of her boys and she was a inspiration to me. I will miss my friend and her energetic ways. Often she would bring baked goods,jelly,and greenery, to all the lady's at the florist. Janice was such an amazing person to work with. She loved her job and her patients and we loved having her on the nights she was here at Richland with us. I am broken hearted for the family especially her boys. She was so proud of them. I am so sorry for your loss.

We were very saddened to learn of Janice's passing. She was a cherished member of the American College of Cardiology, in particular the South Carolina Chapter of the ACC. Her leadership was palpable and she taught us so much about life, how to care for our patients, and how to care for ourselves. Her encouragment meant so much. I have just learned of Janice's passing. I worked with Janice at Bladen County Hospital. She was a very smart lady and taught me so much.
