USHER JANICE MARIE (ADAMCZAK)
On January 2, 2014, Janice Marie Adamczak Usher, 67, of Sewickley, PA and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away in Pittsburgh in the company of her family. Wife of James Paul Usher; mother of James Bradley (Melanie) Usher of Seven Fields, PA; sister of James Adamczak and Joyce Miller, both of Cleveland, Ohio. Friends will be received in THE RICHARD D. COLE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 328 Beaver Street, Sewickley, PA 15143 on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Thomas J. Burke on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church Sewickley. An avid golf and tennis player, Janice was a member of The Sewickley Heights Golf Club and Fiddlesticks Country Club in Ft. Meyers and was a former member of The Western PA Ladies Golf Assn. Active in "Girl's Hope", the family asks that contributions be made to Girl's Hope, 1020 West State Street, Baden, PA 15005. Interment will be in Sewickley Cemetery.

Jim and family,
I played paddle tennis with Jan for years and always really enjoyed her company. I was so sorry to hear of her passing, please accept my condolences. She was a lovely lady and I was honored to have known her.

Dear Jim, I was so sad and shocked to hear of Jan's passing. I admired her warmth and kindness. When I was new at Sewickley Heights Golf Club, she made me feel welcome. We will miss her. She was a wonderful person.
