Janice Valois Obituary

Published by Worcester Telegram & Gazette from Mar. 17 to Mar. 19, 2017.
Janice Snow (Wagner) Valois, 67

West Boylston - Janice Snow (Wagner) Valois, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Leominster following an illness. She is survived by her loving husband Mark D. Everleth of West Boylston; her siblings, Nicholas H. Wagner IV of Cape Cod; Eric W. Wagner & wife Taffy of Bath, ME; and Lisa Schambach & husband John Iaconianni of Reno, NV; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Janice was born in Media, Pennsylvania to the late Nicholas H. Wagner III and Olive Snow (Reven) Wagner. Upon her family settling in Princeton, she attended local schools and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, Class of 1968. She obtained her degree from Endicott College and spent her career in the fashion industry. Jan was full of life, our explorer at heart, she traveled the world from Europe to Africa, to the Western deserts-living the tent life with Bedouins, to fossil digging in Nevada, always open to any adventure. She loved animals and was an accomplished horseback rider. She always had a book to read, a kind word for others, and was happiest in the company of family and friends. Jan, you are free at last to walk among your spirit animals and dwell within the moon's light. Funeral services will be held privately while entrusted to the care of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. dreamt about you last night, Jannie, and looked for you online, only to find you are gone. You were my first cousin, my first best friend. Remember how we played with our dolls at Honeys pool? The summer I spent two weeks with you in Massachusetts were one of my happiest childhood memories. You could ride like the wind, and I envied your freedom, I thought we would never be separated. How did that happen? My dearest love goes with you, wherever you are.

So sad. An old friend from years past. Always to be held in my memory now.
