Jason Barboza Obituary
Jason S. Barboza, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the age of 34. He was born on May 2, 1982 to Jose and Rosie Barboza in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grandpa Joe and Grandma Mary Helen and Grandpa Rudy and Grandma Agueda. Also preceding him in death is his Aunt Angie. He is survived by his parents, Jose and Rosie Barboza; brother Steve Barboza (Dubelza) and nephew, Cloud. Also left to cherish his memory are numerous extended family members and friends. Jason was an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs. He had a gift of love and compassion for all. If you knew him, you had been hugged by hm. He inspired many with his strength, courage and enthusiasm for life. He will leave an imprint in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, from 3 PM until 9 PM with a 7 PM Prayer Service at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 AM for a Graveside Service at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at San Fernando Cemetery II.

Jason was always one of my favorite Special Olympics Athletes. He was an outstanding bowler. He always had a hug for me and all those around us. Jason is an angel up in heaven and will be greatly misses by all those around him.
