Jason Cass Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 29 to Oct. 31, 2021.
Jason William Cass, son of Ohio, 50 died on a dark day October 16, 2021 at his home in Las Vegas, NV.Jason was an amazing man full of life and fun. He loved to drive cars and motorcycles, spend time with his family, fly RC planes, play video games, and drink Pepsi. He was always willing to help anyone with anything from changing a tire to helping someone finish their taxes. He had so many ideas and hobbies; as such, there are many unfinished projects he leaves behind. He left Lorain, Ohio to join the US Navy, see the world, and met his wife. He loved his time in the Navy and eventually returned to Ohio for ten (10) years where he was an active member of Laborers Union, local 758 and had his amazing daughter, Chelsea Cass-Garner. Shortly after Jason moved to Las Vegas, NV and earned an Associate’s Degree in Construction Engineering. He left the union life and then began a career in construction inspection, ensuring all buildings were safe and continuing his habit of protecting people. He later had his son Bishop Cass and made many close friendships and connections with those who are presently mourning him.He has left behind: the love of his life, his wife Stacy Perez; his beautiful, kind, and brilliant daughter whom he treasured Chelsea Cass-Garner whose amazing artistic abilities always made him smile; his wonderful, thoughtful, funny, and whip-smart son Bishop Cass whom he always had so much fun with just being together and being best friends; predeceasing him was his daughter Summer Basmajian, he loved her deeply; and his brother David Payton and his bride Tammy Payton – irrespective of David’s penchant for sipping mint julips while watching My Little Pony marathons aside, Jason loved David.
