May 17, 1990 - May 18, 2014
Suddenly, on May 18, our beloved son Jason passed away. He leaves to mourn his loving parents Patricia Tarquinio and Greg, his brother Stephen, grandmother Fabiola, uncle Roberto (Anna), cousin Stephanie and many relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine, 514-639-1511, www.jjcardinal.ca, on Tuesday, May 27 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m., followed by a Ceremony in the chapel.

It was an honor to sing at the funeral service. Jason sounded like an exceptionally beautiful person. He touched a lot of people and lives on in their hearts. My prayers are with his family.

My heartfelt condolences to Jason's family. I was his English teacher when he was in grade five and will always remember the sweet and kind boy he was. I was so sad to hear this news. May he rest in peace.

I am very, very sorry to hear of the loss of Jason. As a nurse at the Children's, I had the great pleasure of working with your kind and gentle son on many occasions. In these times of self-interest and lack of concern for others, the loss of such a sincere,compassionate and other-oriented person will leave the world a little worse off, and the Children's moreso. He never failed to come to say Hello, with a pat on my shoulder and a "Hi, Mary. How are you today?" I will very much miss working with him, as he embodied, to me, the 'way a person in our helping profession ought to be'. Take care of yourselves. Jason would absolutely expect that of you.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Jason De Sain. I met Jason in 2012 while he was working as a PAB in Palliative Care at the MGH. He truly had a way with my mother, who passed away in December of that year. He was the only person who made her feel comfortable. He went out of his way. Stayed really late one day trying to get the bath working with me because my mom desperately needed one. He was truly a caring soul and will forever be remebered in my heart for the gentle way he was with my mom. Hopefully they are up there together, taking good care of everyone and being at peace. The world lost a truly special person and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends suring this time of loss.
