Jason W Hicks, age 39, passed away on Sunday January 8, 2018. He was born June 5, 1978, in Miami, FL to Bob and Annette Hicks. Jason graduated from Allen D. Nease High school in 1996. He married Melody on August 19, 2010, in Savannah, Georgia.
Jason worked for Southeast Toyota for 16 years. Jason lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: watching movies, dinner with friends and family, weekly drinks and hot wings with friends, watching football and keeping track of his fantasy football leagues. Jason was a food enthusiast and loved to take on many eating challenges.
Jason strived to always do more for others than for himself. He was always moved to help a stranger, coworker, friend, or family who was in need.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family and being at home watching and playing with his children. He loved his church and always wanted to share how Jesus changed his life.
Jason is survived by his beloved wife Melody, son Tyler, daughter Charlotte, mother Annette, father Bob, brother Chris (Jori), nephew Austin, mother-in-law Donna (Wes), sister-in-law Danielle (Daniel), and nieces Celsey and Cimarron. Family, friends, and others whose lives Jason touched are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday January 13, 2018 at 11am in Fruit Cove Baptist Church 501 SR 13 Saint Johns, FL 32259.
In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the Jason Hicks Memorial Fund which will directly assist Melody, Tyler, and Charlotte Hicks" at https://www.gofundme.com/jason-hicks-memorial-fund

Jason was always one with a smile on his face and a great sense of humor. He has many, many friends that can attest to that. He loved his family, he loved his friends, and he loved his work.
To the Hicks family, our prayer is that the Lord surround you with His peace and healing, and that you always remember the wonderful times spent with such a great man, Jason.

Dear Melody and your beautiful children Tyler and Charlotte... I know your hearts are broken and there is a big, gigantic void in your lives. Jason was an exceptional husband, father, son, coworker, and friend. I had the privilege of working with him for 3 and a half years. I had many great conversations with him about your vacations, your children and and his recent weight loss. He was so proud. I enjoyed him so much and I will miss our conversations at work and his very polite demeanor. God Bless your family. Jason was a wonderful guy and he will be missed by so many.
