Jason Huff Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 2 to Jan. 3, 2009.
HUFF Jason E. "Huffles" Jason E. "Huffles" Huff, age 30, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, December 30th, 2008, at his home. He was born February 11, 1978, to Bobby and Carol (Fahrer) Huff in Sylvania, Ohio. Jason attended Whiteford Elementary School in Ottawa Lake, Michigan and went on to attend and graduate from New London High School in Iowa in 1996. Returning to Toledo in 1997 Jason began working with Guardian Alarm, until becoming employed with AT&T. Jason grew up at the family cottage at Cub Lake in Hillsdale, Michigan. He loved the water and continued to visit his parents at the cottage over the years. Jason loved life and lived every day to the fullest. He spent many hours riding his motorcycle and playing in a pool league at 21 West. Jason had a wonderful sense of humor that he loved to share with family and friends. He was a kind and giving person, willing to give anything he was fortunate enough to have with someone in need, whether it was his time or talents and support. Jason was preceded in death by his grandmother, Goldie Locker and grandfather, Ralph Fahrer, as well as several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Carol Huff of Hillsdale, MI; loving brothers, James (Ed Kime) and Jeff Huff; his 3 dogs who he loved very much and many, many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory. A Reception to Celebrate Jason's life will be Sunday, January 4th, 2009, from 12-5:00 p.m. at Jolly Roger Sailing Club, 5961 Edgewater Dr. Toledo, OH. Please come and share your memories. Bob & Carol
I am so sorry to here of your loss,I could not believe it was true.
Jason was such a good hearted person.I can still remember our boys first day of school after the transfer.The two new kids not related to each other.
Both started during the school year ,on the same day !
Both from MI !
Both named Jason !
This became the start of a vary good friendship.
I know your family will be there for each other during this difficult time Jason was blessed to have a part of each of you. Being the baby he was influenced by the most loving person with the biggest heart I have ever known ,His Mother!
The most :excepting:sports minded person,He could turn to for anything}
His Dad!
And from Jeff he learned to be:Fun loving, a little crazy,But a brotherly bond he could count on!
And from his big brother he learned to be strong enough, to make the chooses in life, To be who ever he wanted Know matter what!
ALL of you were part of him!
And He Was Loved By Many

Dear Huff Family,
I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. I am so sorry for your loss. Jason was a close friend of mine in High School in New London, we were in the same class. Jeff was in my sister Jennifer's class. Jeff, Jason, Naomi Douglas and I used to spend many sweating days tearing it up at the racketball courts in the YMCA. Not sure why we continued to go back, us girls were never any good. Jason took me one time to IL to meet his old friends. We had many great times together. He was an amazing, compassionate person with a smile that I will never forget.

WHAT A FINE YOUNG MAN. ALWAYS KIND & CONSIDERATE.

I was very disturbed when I heard about Jason and I would like to share this prayer...

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
