Jason W. Kirk, age 43, unexpectedly died while in Phoenix, AZ on April 21st, 2022. He was born on January 9th, 1979 in Moose Lake to Mary Houck and Jeff Kirk.
Jason grew up in Moose Lake and was the second of six children. He was very friendly, intelligent, energetic, and witty. He showed a strong love for God, family, friends, and animals. After high school, Jason married and became a father to two beautiful sons: Byron and Cobe. Jason was a hard and dedicated worker in the Laborer's Union with a strong work ethic. Jason enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He had deep feelings for his family. His family and friends will remember Jason as a loyal, caring person who did what he could to help out others. He had a playful nature about him and a big heart. His adventurous side led him to various places including the Philippines, where he married Adora in August, 2016 and had a beautiful son, Jashar, in February, 2019. Jason really enjoyed living in the Philippines and made many friends there as well. He will be loved and missed by all of us!
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Malcom and Marie Kirk, and William and Mary Reynolds; step-father, Don Houck; and his father-in-law, Manuel T. Adre.
His survivors include his sons: Byron, Cobe and Jashar Kirk; wife, Adora Kirk; mother, Mary Houck; father, Jeff (Donna) Kirk; siblings, Christopher "Scott" (Jean) Kirk, Matthew (Brandie) Kirk, Tiffany (Greg) Ziemer, Camerin (Michael) Hochhalter, and Garret (Andrea) Kirk; aunt, Jackie Kirk; mother-in-law, Rizalina Adre; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a long list of friends.
A gathering of family and friends to honor Jason's life will be held on Friday, June 3rd from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake. Inurnment will take place Saturday, June 4th at 10:ooam in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake.
In addition to the services on June 3rd, a memorial of Jason’s life will be held on June 10th, 2022 at 7:00pm for any and all, from near and far, to attend.

I´m so sorry to hear of Jason´s death. Our only consolation is that death is NOT permanent. God will undo all the troubles, distress, tears and pain that we have to endure. Our thought and prayers are with the family.
