Jason Troy Miller

It is with great anguish that the Miller-Cox family announces the passing of Jason, 51, on November 16, 2021. Born July 12, 1970 in Duluth, Minnesota, Jason came into the world an active, full of life child. When you were with Jason, you were constantly on your toes. This wild spirit never left Jason and he always had a way of charming all of those around him. Jason had many fond memories of when he played football for Selkirk High School. An entertainer at heart, Jason's laugh could be heard from miles away, making for memorable camping, fishing, and hunting trips for all those involved. Along with his active nature, Jason also had an impeccable memory that allowed him to recite every TV commercial word for word. This habit was replaced when he and his brother began helping his dad pit on his car at the racetrack. It was here that Jason found a passion for driving, which would later become one of his favourite jobs. Jason loved his family and is going to be missed by them more than words can say. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Shari and Rick Cox, sister Johnna Miller, brother Jammy (Tammy) Miller, stepsister Carlynn (Rob) Miller-Gore, nieces and nephews Courtney (Jeremy), Kendra, Gabe (Anza), and Sam, and aunts and uncles. Predeceased by father Carl Miller, grandparents Fred and Marie Christianson, Grace and Clarence (Budge) Cox. If so desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Westfort Prosvita Hall on Gore Street on December 5 from 1-4. Proof of double vaccination must be shared along with sign in. Masks must be worn.
