Jason Andrew Monterola

18, of Sachse, Texas, passed away April 17, 2013 in Sachse, Texas. He was born April 28, 1994 in Garland, Texas. Jason was a 2012 graduate of Sachse High School. He was very athletic, loved to workout and enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. Jason loved his music and wrote songs. He was very outgoing, had tons of friends, but most of all, loved his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Henry; maternal grandparents, John and Polly McAlister; and paternal grandparents, Sofio Monterola, Sr. and Idelida Kurash. Jason is survived by his parents, John Monterola and Eve Henry; his brother, Jonathan Monterola; nephew, Asher Monterola; maternal grandmother, Norma Henry; and numerous other family members. The Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 22, 2013 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 2925 5th Street, Sachse, Texas, 75048. Reverend Ernie Villaroyra officiating. Interment will follow in Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas.
