A visitation will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The celebration of Jason's life will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.

Don't know what to say. I have known Jason since 2008 we met at exxon mobil in beaumont TX. I have been in Canada working the last couple of years. I just got the news of his passing from anoter co-worker. Man I am floored and deeply saddned. If there was ever a guy one could say that enjoyed life and made those around him feel good. It was Jason. My thoughts go out to his family especially his little girl. Darling for the time you had him he loved you with all his heart. He spoke of you everyday i was around him. Jason, I will miss u brother. When I met u and jay in hobbs,new mexico, boy did we had fun during night shift. Then we met again in orange, texas, Jason never change cuz he made me laugh everyday. I was very hurt when he passed away. I will never forget u. I love u brother.

I've known Jason for most of my adult life, we traveled together and worked together. We laughed together, fought together, raced together and cheated death many times behind the wheel. He was my friend, my mentor, my pupil, he was the type of person that could make a bad situation seem good and a good one seem great by just being there. I never called on Jason and he said sorry I'm busy or it's too late, true friends as these are far too rare in life.Jason saved my life once when I had heart problems he called 911 then griped at the ambulance for driving so slow, lol. Weeks later one morning he had a seizure walking into a store and I grabbed him up like a baby and drove him in his mustang to the hospital. We had a good laugh afterwards when he said all he remembered was me caring him like an infant. We never spoke on the phone or met in person when he didn't have a video of Mazzy or a new story to tell of his beautiful little girl, he was so proud of you Mazzy, you were his world. I can honestly say that I was lucky to call Jason my friend, thanks for all the memories brother. Gone but never forgotten Michelle and Mazzy I am so sorry for your loss but if you need anything don't hesitate.

I knew both Jason and Michelle thru my nephew, Chad Nelson. Jason and Chad were the closest of friends and talked everyday. Michelle was an angel to my sister, Marilyn Nelson. Michelle would spends hours with her in the hospital before she went to meet her Maker. Jason and Michelle have always been there for our family. We send our love to their family. Jason will be missed. May he rest peacefully in the arms of his Maker.

It seems like yesterday we met in a small town in Seminole TX, which brought two brothers into my life. Brother I'll miss you very much.
I remember when I first met your family they were setting on the porch of a small house down from the plant, and Mazzy was a baby that loved her dad. Brother with all your friends your family will not have to worry about anything!

Jason was my neighbor, as a child, growing up in the notorious Brandyhood apts, and it's been decades since I've last seen him. He's not a fella that one easily forgets, with his contagious laughter, constant pranks, and high-octane attitude towards life.
