Jason Schaefer Obituary
Andover, NH — Jason K. Schaefer, 42, of Andover, NH passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2022.
Jason was born in Syracuse, NY and graduated from New Hartford, NY High School. He went on to earn multiple degrees from SUNY Morrisville. Then he went to work for a number of entities in the forestry, wood products and building materials industry. He was currently employed at Lumber Barn in Bradford, NH.
Jason was an avid Red Sox Fan and an ardent Buffalo Bills Fan. He was also an enthusiastic supporter of his childrens' athletic events-with his booming voice, you always knew he was in the crowd. The "Blue Storm" Lacrosse Girls could certainly hear him.
Jason is survived by his wife of five years, Alicia (Williams) Schaefer; his daughter, Morgan Lea (Allison Coy) and his bonus children, Madison, Chloe and Tristan; his parents, Jim and Patty Schaefer of New Hartford, NY; sisters, Kristen (Connor) Sutton of Ogdensburg, NY and Amy (Josh) Murinka of Auburn, NY and the four nephews he loved to tease, Dempsey and Kellan Sutton and Carson and Mason Murinka as well as multiple aunts, uncles and cousins; father-in-law, Steve Williams and mother-in-law, Joanne Robie both of Bristol, NH and many good friends.
The family wishes to thank First Responders and Ed Shaughnessy at this difficult time.
Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 10:00-12:00 with a blessing to follow at noon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CHaD, One Medical Center Drive HB 7070, Lebanon, NH 03756 or to a fund for Morgan's college expenses. Information will be available at calling hours.

I'm so saddened to read this sad news. I worked with Jason at PAR in New Hartford, NY and he was always so nice and funny. Anytime we needed anything fixed, he was there to help.
