It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Michael Wilkins, who left this world on March 24, 2025, at the age of 43. Born in Austin, Texas, on September 29, 1981, to Larry Wilkins and Sue Zepeda, Jason brought light, warmth, and a vibrant presence wherever he went.

Jason had a rare and beautiful ability to turn strangers into friends. His warmth made everyone feel seen, welcomed, and like they truly belonged.

Family was the heart of Jason's world-especially his sister, Sarah. Their bond was deep and unbreakable. They were not only siblings, but best friends, soul-connected through love, loyalty, and shared laughter. He always looked out for her, and their relationship was one of the great constants of his life.

Jason was a passionate cook, and through food, he expressed love. His talent in the kitchen brought joy to many and helped create cherished memories that live on in the homes and restaurants he touched.

Those who knew Jason will remember his magnetic energy. He had a big heart and an even stronger spirit. Kind, generous, and deeply loyal, Jason never hesitated to stand up for himself or those he loved. If you were in his circle, he would give you everything he had-wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

In the words of his sister Sarah:

"He was, at his core, the kindest person I've ever met. That didn't mean he took crap from anybody-but he was always willing to give to someone he loved, even if it meant he was short. He loved big and fully. He was my best friend from the day he was born until the day he died, and I will never get over him."

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
