ACCARDI, JASPER, (SAM) 82 - of North Wildwood, passed away Sunday at his home. Born on July 16th, 1924 in Bristol, Pa., he has been a local resident for the past 60 years. Mr. Accardi was a U.S. Navy Veteran during WWII. He was a former North Wildwood motel owner along with his wife for many years. He was a member of St. Ann's church in Wildwood. Mr. Accardi was the last survivor of his generation. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Marie Accardi; son, Carlo Accardi; daughter, Anna Catanoso; seven grandchildren, Marsiella, Lisa, Rebecca, Marie, Patricia, Samuel and Gwen; his great grandson, Cole Accardi; his sisters-in-law, Marie Accardi and Dorothy Accardi; his former daughter-in-law, Ann Abbatiello; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10 am at St. Ann's Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood. There will be a viewing Friday evening 7 to 9 pm and Saturday morning from 9 to 9:30 am at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., North Wildwood, Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lower Township.
