Javier Alaniz Obituary
He was one of the original members of the Jerry and the Rufnex Band. He was a chef for the seafarer restaurant in Harlingen, TX and began cooking at Marins Drive Inn in Benavides, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Rosalinda Alaniz and one brother Arnoldo R. Pena.
He is survived by four brothers, Gregorio R. Pena (America) of SanAntonio, TX, Manuel Alaniz and Guadalupe R. Alaniz both of Benavides, TX and Narciso Alaniz of Harlingen, TX, one sister Hilda Pena of Harlingen, TX.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Friday September 12, 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Santa Rosa De Lima Church in Benavides, TX.
