JAVIER ARANA Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 24 to Apr. 3, 2012.
Javier Arana Jr., 32, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2012. Born July 20, 1979 in Glendale, California, he was the son of Javier and Blanca Arana. He graduated from Parkland High School in El Paso, TX in 1997. He enlisted to the United States Marine Corps in 1997 and served for four years, stationed in Camp Pendleton, California. There he received numerous awards, certifications, and service medals. After receiving an honorable discharge, Javier served an additional four years as a civilian contract employee supporting joint efforts in both Iraq and Afghanistan. During this time Javier received his Bachelors in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix. He met his wife, Cindy Arana and they were married on November 26, 2004. In November 2010, Javier graduated from the Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Academy and served the community as a Texas State Trooper while stationed in El Paso, TX. It is during this time that he passed away while in the line of duty. He left this world having fulfilled his dreams and goals personally and professionally. Javier loved baseball, music, and most of all spending time with family and friends. He will be especially missed by his wife, Cindy; his children, Naomi, Kayla, Diego, Julian, and Desiree; his parents, Javier and Blanca; and his sisters, Martha and Bianca Arana. The Arana Family would like to send our deepest gratitude to the Texas DPS Troopers and to all the agencies who have given all their support during these trying times. Archangel Michael, Patron Saint of Law Enforcement, Javier will make one of your finest recruits as he is now promoted to "Guardian Angel" serving at the Lord's right hand. At ease Marine you've served your country well. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trooper Javier Arana Memorial Fund, White Sands Federal Credit Union #155138. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm with a Vigil/ Rosary to begin at 7pm, Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. My prayers go out to you, Mrs. Arana and your children. I am so saddened by your loss. I didn't know your husband but he must have been a very special man from what I have read about him. I know that no words can console you and your children at this time but I pray time will lessen the pain. No one can take away the love and memories that you shared. God bless you all.

I'm very sorry for your loss although I never got the chance to know Mr. Arana as a person I did get the chance to meet him a couple of months ago. He pulled me over for my license plate light missing one night. He asked for my license and when he saw my last name turned out to be pretty good friends with my dad. They were contractors together overseas. He laughed shared a couple stories about the two of them and told me to be careful sending me off with a warning. Just wanted to share my story with you on how I met Mr. Arana such a nice man. Your family is in my prayers again I am very sorry for your loss.

We little knew that morning that God
Was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us, one by one,
The Chain will link again.

Our deepest condolences go out to The Arana Family. In these cases, Faith & Time are our best friends. We also lost our loved one a few months ago. This tragedy has taken us back to the shock, disbelief, and pain we went through when our loved one was called to the Lord. Yes, life has changed for you Arana Family, but if you keep God in your daily life, you will see that acceptance is much easier. Stay strong and united.
