Jay V. Del Giudice, 73, of Venice, Florida, died peacefully at home on December 20, 2021, surrounded by his family. Jay was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. After serving in the military, he built his home in Ringwood to raise a family and where he lived for over 20 years before moving to Toms River. In 2017, after retiring, he left New Jersey to move to Venice, Florida to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Jay served in the US Army from Oct. 1966 through 1968 and earned the designation of SSG, serving in Fort Jackson, South Carolina as a Drill Instructor. Jay's many accomplishments, skills, active participation in numerous sports, family and friends, all add up to a "life well lived". Beloved Husband, Father & Grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Susan (Dacey), who he was married to for 54 years, his daughter, Celeste Byers (Mark) and his son, Jason (Melinda) and his four grandchildren, Eric Byers, Justin, Alyssa and Jace Del Giudice, who are all living in Florida. Interment is at the VA Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fl.
