I was just thinking about Jay this morning. And I decided to search for him online. I was shocked to learn that he had passed away. I knew Jay back in 1991 when I worked at Foodland. I moved out of Pittsburgh in 1994 I had not been in touch with him in over 20 years. I can still remember his smile how tall he was and how friendly he was to everyone. May he rest in peace.

Jay, I don't even know what to say. I am so shocked at ur passing. U were a great guy who will truly be missed. U started as my boss at Ardmore Foodland then u became my friend then I introduced u to my sister and u became my brother in law. U were always there for me and talked me through some rough times.but ur door was always open and u would give anyone the shirt off ur back. As long as they didn't touch ur socks. Lol. Inside joke. I'm so sorry we lost touch these past couple years. I missed you so did the kids. The last time I ran into u at rite Aid u were gonna stop up I wish u would of. Rest in peace my friend.

Jay Marshall was more than just a manager to me at shop n save, he was a very close friend. Can't believe he's gone. He was 1 of the most real guys I know. Work just won't be the same without him. When I moved all the way out Swissvale, he gave me rides to work, took me to the bar, did whatever to help me out. I'll always be thankful for that. Ima miss you Jay, big homie! Stay watchin over me!

SHIRLEY, SO SORRY TO HEAR OF "Nippy's" PASSING. HE WAS SUCH A RESPECTABLE YOUNG MAN. I REMEMBER HIM AS A KID, RUNNING THROUGH THE SCHOOL YARD. HE's GONE TO HIS HEAVENLY HOME, TO WORK FOR HIS HEAVENLY FATHER. GOD, WILL HEAL YOUR WOUNDED HEART, JUST PLACE YOUR TRUST IN HIM. KEEP ALL HIS MEMORIES CLOSE TO YOUR HEART. " WEEPING ENDURETH FOR A NIGHT, BUT UNSPEAKABLE JOY WILL COME IN THE MORNING." I'LL KEEP YOU IN PRAYER AS YOU GRIEVE YOUR GREAT LOSS. GOD BLESS YOU,...RWG,JAY!
