Jay Swiger Obituary
Jay is survived by his loving wife, Jean Fahrni of Lowell; children, Marsha (Scott) Hubble of Ionia, Stuart (Judy) Swiger of Alaska, Lori (Rick) Raimer of Lowell and Mary Swiger of Hawaii; step-children, Clem (Penny) Shea of Grand Rapids, Mark (Carla) Shea of Ohio, Louise (Bill) Jacobs of Florida, Dennis (Teresa) Fahrni of Clarksville, Jane (Tony) Martinez of Rothbary and Sheri (Randy) Miller of Saranac,; 25 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Bernice Swiger; second wife, Shirley Swiger; brothers, William and Richard; and sister, Crystal Tucker.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, January 12, at First Baptist Church in Lowell with Pastor John Pickens officiating. Interment Saranac Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com.
