Farmington - Jay Dee Vaetoe-Tuimauga, 22, left this earthly life Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
He was born August 19, 1984 in Provo, Utah, the son of the late Darren Vaetoe-Tuimauga and Jody Phillips Olsen (stepson of the late Ken W. Olsen).
Dee, as he was known by many, had two passions in life, his family and football. He loved playing football for Fremont High and graduated from Washington High. Born January 5, 2006, his beautiful princess Aaliyah Jay was his life. For the last 15 months Dee took great care in loving and supporting his beautiful daughter.
He was dedicated to his work at UPS to provide for his family in Lake Havasu and was loved by all.
He is survived by his mother Jody Olsen; siblings Jacklyn (Luis) Torres, Cami (Jesus) Aparicio, Kira Olsen and Connor Olsen. Two Nephews; Dezmin Aparicio and Enrique Torres. Grandparents Carolyn Phillips, Ellen Royer, Dwain (Lucy) Olsen and Cowley (Gloria) Vaetoe-Tuimauga and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was met in heaven, with open loving arms by his father, stepfather and grandparents as well as many others.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Farmington 4th Ward Chapel, 1395 South 200 East. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main Street (across from Cherry Hill) and Thursday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment- Farmington City Cemetery.
His family expresses their deepest love and compassion to the family of his love Summer Pettit. She was also loved as one of our own.
Jay Dee, Summer and Aaliyah we love you and will truly miss you.
