Kristen - I just found out today & I'm so, so very sorry! Jay was one of only a couple childhood friends who stayed in contact with me since I left to enlist in the Air Force over 30 years ago. We first met in 6th grade at Rittenhouse middle school. I'll cherish the great memories of our friendship and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your beautiful children over this Christmas season. I am so sorry that Jay is no longer with us. I have not seen Jay since shortly after college, but the world was a better place with him. He was a kind soul and true gentleman. I am proud to have known him and to have had him as a fraternity brother.

Our family lives down the street. We did not know Jay by name, but spoke to him on several occasions as he would walk by our house and our dog Diesel would run along the fence and play with Lulu. He was always pleasant and took so much joy watching the dogs, as did we. We are so sorry for your loss.
