Jayden Carter Obituary
Jayden Shawn Carter, affectionatly known as “Pa,” went into a deep
sleep on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. He was born on Tuesday, August 16, 2006, at 6:01 AM
to Geralyn Carter and Thomas Brodnax. On October 11, 2022, God called Jayden home to
help build bigger Lego castles. Jay was the biggest Lego and comic book fan. He loved Taco
Tuesday. Jayden was the sweetest gentle giant and teddy bear. All he ever wanted to do was
play his game and talk with his friends.
Jayden leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Geralyn Carter; biological father, Thomas
Brodnax; dad, Rufus Conley, Jr.; his siblings, Jaylien, Janiya, Keylan, Harlem, and Alana;
grandparents, Dianne Myles, Anderson Carter, and Ellan and Jerry Brodnax; and a host of
aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Jayden was preceded in death by his sister, Myrielle; and grandparents, Olivia Leblanc,
Rose Carter, and Zena Austin.
