Jayne was my hero. Her strength and courage were an inspiration to so many people. She was such a special person and I will miss everything about her.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Jayne. It's from April 2017 fundraiser for the TTDems. The plants in the background were part of the Earth day theme and Jayne (and Barb) helped make the display a beautiful and functional plant sale. Somehow I was able to convince Jayne to pose for the picture. So glad she "complied". When I look at this picture, I see her strength, inner and outer beauty, and her total commitment to helping others.
I consider myself lucky to have shared time with her over these past 5 years. Although I will miss her physical presence, her spirit of strength and determination will forever be a part of me.

Years ago, I remember coming to Jayne's house on several occasions to stuff envelopes for Democratic candidates. She was always warm and welcoming, organized and practical. Gutsy survivor, indomitable spirit. RIP, Jayne. You touched many.
