1986 - 2007

Rickey Allen Caudell, 20, passed away suddenly Friday morning, August 3, 2007, in Milton.
He was born August 31, 1986, in Milton and was a lifelong resident of the Santa Rosa County area.
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Jerry Bunch Jr. and Eugene Caudell; his grandfathers, Jerry Bunch Sr. of Muskogee, OK and Sidney Caudell of Bagdad; his uncle, Junior Benbow of Jay.
Survivors are his son, Rickey Allen Caudell III (16 months old); parents, Jennifer and Rickey Caudell; grandmothers, Judy Nelson "Me-ma" and Jeanne Singletary "Granny"; aunts, Janis Benbow, Gena (Patrick) Hawkins and Sheena Singletary; uncle, Wayne Caudell (Melissa); and cousins, Jodi and Michael Benbow, Micky, Miranda and Matt Caudell; and special relatives, Dee and Papa Jacobs and David Dawson. There are many other relatives and special friends in Milton and Oklahoma.
Ricky was a young, yet devoted father. His most special times were spent with his son. Rickey was a very outgoing young man. In fact, he never met a stranger. He was adventurous and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to drive his truck through the mud and spending time at the creek. His favorite sports were hunting and fishing. Rickey was the only child to his parents. We will carry our many wonderful memories of his lifetime in our hearts. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. To Rickey, may you rest in peace until we are all joined together again.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Bethel Baptist Church, located at 6178 Old Bagdad Highway.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Santa Rosa County Federal Credit Union, 5909 N Stewart Street, Milton, FL 32570 to the Trust Fund of Rickey Allen Caudell III.

Ricky and Jennifer, I am so sorry about your loss. I have really been praying for you all. Little Ricky was a true gift from God. I always loved being around him, he was such a tough little boy and country as can be. He is with God now, but he will always be with you all in spirit. I love you both very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rickey, We love you with all our Hearts. We know that we will see you again one day and we know that you are happy and at peace now, but it is so hard to let you go. We were proud of the Daddy that you had become to your son and the dreams that you had for him. We have so many happy memories of the times you spent with us when you were little. You were the center of attention in our home. We remember getting you ready for church and you always wanted to wear a tie like PaPa(You always called it a collar). We remember that you always wanted to go everywhere with Gary and Jerry and how you loved Johnny's Jeep. Kay-Kay will always remember you as her baby. We will always remember your smile. We Love You, Dee and PaPa

Rickey, I keep thinking of all the memories we have of you. I keep going back to when you were little. You were the sweetest baby. I see so much of you in your baby. I remember how you loved to dress up. When we went to church you always wanted a collar (tie) like PaPa. You were always making us laugh and filling our homes with so much love. You knew you could get anything you wanted with that sweet smile and a kiss. We have so many photos and so many memories. We remember how you loved to run and play outside and we were right there with you. We remember how you loved pizza and chicken strips with gravy from Tastee Freeze. I remember when we went to Gulf Shores for the weekend and your MaMa had to bring you all the way over because you would not stop crying. You wanted to be there. You loved Gulf Shores. You loved the waterfall in the pool. It amazed you. I remember how you would say no, that's my Kay Kay. We LOVE YOU!!!!

Rickey, baby, you will always be in our hearts. We love you. You are at peace. We have so many memories and so much love for you.
We will be together again. We know you are in a better place and with the ones who love you so. I bet you and Jerry are fishing now. We love you. You were our baby no matter how old you were. We will never let the baby forget you we know how much you love him and that he was your life. You were such a good DADDY! WE LOVE YOU!!!!
