AGE: 76 • Newark

Jean W. Byassee, age 76, of Newark, DE, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 18, 2015. Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Dolly Wenchel. She retired from Wilmington Trust after many years of dedicated service. Jean was a world traveler who enjoyed photography. She was an avid reader and played, as well as taught, piano. Jean also enjoyed playing golf.

Jean is survived by many loving family, friends, and neighbors.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 5:30-7 PM in the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Jean's life at 7 PM.
