Jean Card Obituary
Jean Marie Card age 79, went to be with her loved ones on May 3, 2016, in Zephyrhills, FL, with her children and the love of her life at her side. Jean was a sweet loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Jean was born November 10,1936 to Monroe and Mary (Dunbar) House in Spencer, NY. Her greatest joy was her family, sewing and making music. She worked for Cornell University, Candor and Ithaca City Schools before retirement. Jean was predeceased by her mother and father. Survivors include son, Ralph (Vickie) Jayne; daughters, Diana Jayne and Rebecca (Joseph) Fiore; grandchildren, Kevin Jayne and Nichole Jayne, Justin (Jennifer) Fiore and Geena (Keith) Kasmarcik; great-grandchildren, Ethan Jayne and Sophia Deubler; sister, LoriAnn (Randy) Wilhide; soul mate Roger Wolf and her dog Sally. A Memorial Service will held Saturday May 21st at 1:00 at Myer's Gardens, 1071 Michigan Hollow Road, Spencer, NY 14883. A gathering with a dish to pass will follow at the West Danby Fire Station, 47 Sylvan Lane, Spencer, NY 14883

Aunt Jeanie will be greatly missed. She always made you feel "joyful" with her big smile, and beautiful blue eyes that danced with excitement when she talk to you!!!. My heart goes out to my cousins and their families. Love Joe and Cornelia

Jean Card was such a kind , wonderful person. I hadn't seen her in many years. She was my Sunday school teacher when I was young. I still have the Bible she gave me. I've thought of her many times through the years. Rest in peace .
