My thoughts and prayers for all family and friends of Jean. She will always be an amazing woman to me. I had the pleasure of spending time with her here in the KC Metro area when her book "Don't Let The Fire Go Out". I so enjoyed the time as we traveled for the book signings here. What an amazing soul. Rest in peace my friend.

As a new Republican State Senator, Jean Carnahan and Mel treated me with encouragement, honesty and genuine openness as a representative of my district on behalf of good government. Willing to work together on the behalf of all the people of Missouri was an actuality!

The Antle family remembers good times with the Carnahans, along with other family friends in Rolla. 'Caravaning for Carnahan' with red cowboy hats is a memory for me, myself unaware of politics back then, but fully aware that our friend and his wife and family would represent us honestly and well.
