Jean "Jeanie" Folkers

When I think back to my first year teaching at the apartment in South Sioux, I always smile. I loved working with Jeanie, she was such a hoot. I remember do Sweating to the Oldies with her, we'd start dancing all the moves, but soon we were sitting on the couch doing just the arm moves. It was still a workout!

I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Jeanie, from watching Rocky Horror Picture Show to just walking around Sloan greeting the neighbors. She was a very special person with a great smile and a great heart.

Every time I had the privilege of seeing and speaking to Jeanie, she always had a smile or a joke for me. She was so bright and fun. My heart hurts for her and for her family who I have grown to cherish. Peace & love to you all.
