The franchise was known as Down-East Parties, Inc. J.P. retired in 1994. Over the years, he served on St. Teresa's Parish Council Finance Committee. He also enjoyed actively taping Masses for those absent from them. J.P. and Lucille celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary May 9 before he fell into a peaceful sleep. As an avid sports fan, J.P. was often seen at various Black Bears' hockey games with his best friend, Roger Begin of Brewer. He enjoyed photography, history, sailing and astronomy. We were very surprised to hear of J.P. passing. Harvard and I have a lot of fond memories over the 20 years we were with 'Tupperware'...the trip to Bear Island, picnics, Jubilees, conferences, a lot of hard work and just plain fun. He was always there for us and willing to help with 'everything'! He certainly showed his love for his family. We will miss him and we know that you will, too. Our prayers are with you Lucille, John, Jimmy, Louise and families.
