Coach Hale,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. Jean had to be one of the most patient and understanding persons to be a coaches wife. You had a profound impact on my career at UT and I thank you. I never had that chance to thank Jean as well. She was able to let you go coach and teach us boys to become young men. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Clovis, you know how much I loved Jean, and how grateful I am to have had you both a part of my life from first grade forward. Our whole class was and is like family to me. I remember so many of our class parties where I learned to dance- either at her house or yours. I don't think there was ever a more enjoyable time of my life than those days.

May you have peace and comfort in knowing that Jean is now residing in her promised mansion, where all is well.

Love, Sharon

Clovis, I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your life partner. I know how you are feeling now, and my prayer is that each day you will see something special, unusual, or beautiful and it will remind you of all the wonderful memories, laughter, and fun times you and Jean had together. You will feel like a wave, up & down...up & down, but just know that you are not alone. My thoughts are with you. Sue Narrell Nebrig
