Jean Frances Halverson, 88, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023 in Libertyville, IL. She was born Dec. 26, 1934 in Chicago and was a former resident of Chicago Heights, Homewood, Clinton, WI and a recent resident of Libertyville, IL. She was an active member at City of Hope Church in Janesville WI and remained close to her church family while living in Libertyville. She enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark movies and her bowling mornings with friends. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are 5 children, Lane Halverson, Diane (Dave) Ireland, Bill (Marci) Halverson, Ron (Roberta) Halverson and April (Dan) Wurst; 6 Grandchildren, Alan and Caryn Ireland; Raymond, Thea and Andrew Halverson; Wyatt Wurst; 2 Great Grandchildren; Coleton and McKenna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Gaber, by her husband Steven Halverson and grandchildren, Michael Ireland and Kaila Wurst.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 pm Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, WI.
