JEAN ROBERTA HAYES

JEAN ROBERTA HAYES, 91, of Proctorville, Ohio, died Saturday February 9, 2019, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Minister Chris French officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Jean was born September 9, 1927, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Samuel and Myra Corbin Galloway. She was a member of the Rome Church of Christ, Proctorville, Ohio. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Marion Boggs and Marjorie O'Neil, and one brother, James Galloway. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Myra and Michael Bowling of Cocoa, Fla., Anna and Doug Booton of Bristol, Tenn.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Kay Hayes of South Point, Ohio and David and Cindy Hayes of Proctorville, Ohio; three sisters, Lucille Winter of Keizer, Ore., Linda Wheeler of Proctorville, Ohio and Carolynn Ellison of Ashland, Ky.; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Sandy Galloway of Proctorville, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Beulah Gill of Huntington; nine grandchildren, Christie, Jocelyn, Jason, Brandy, Gabrial, Alexander, Ean, Heather and Holly; six great-grandchildren, Grant, Keri, Eveleigh, Bronson and Emery Kate and Colton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the food pantry at Rome Church of Christ, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday February 12, 2019, at Chapman's Mortuary.
