Jean Keebler Obituary
Poughkeepsie, New York - Jean Marie Keebler 94 of Poughkeepsie passed away on Friday December 28, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Jean was a homemaker and had previously worked at Trussell Manufacturing Company.
Jean was involved in volunteer work at the church, she loved people and was loved by everyone whose life she touched. Jean was a loved and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Born June 11, 1924 in Poughkeepsie, she was a daughter of Virgil "Mac" Lattin and Ann Duffy Lattin. Her childhood was spent in Rhinebeck, New York.
Jean married Allis "Paul" Keebler on April 25, 1946 at Christ Episcopal Church Poughkeepsie. Paul predeceased her on November 1, 2000.
Jean is survived by her two daughters Paula Fraleigh of Sneads Ferry, NC, Carol Ann (Malkemus) Rider and her husband John of Hyde Park, NY, her two granddaughters Betty Jean Nowik of Goochland, VA, Kimberly Jean Lohrfink of Catonsville, MD, her grandson Timothy Jason Fraleigh of Pleasant Valley, 7 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Jean is predeceased by her two sisters Elizabeth Carpenter, Joan Allers, two brothers John Frost, Carlton Lattin and her sister in-law Martha Lattin.
Calling hours will be held 4pm to 7pm Thursday January 3, 2019 at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday January 4, 2019 at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Rhinebeck Cemetery.

We loved our Aunt Jean "to the moon and back". We will miss her more than you can imagine, she was our"other mother", never forgot our birthdays, always sent a lovely card, I have saved every one of them. On the Wings of Angels, Rest in Peace, dear,sweet, kind and loving Aunt Jean. Love, Marilou and family, Michael and family.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
What a privilege it is to have spent so much time with your loved one. May wonderful memories of the past coupled with a hope of seeing Marie in the future bring a measure of comfort to you today.
