Jean Ann Pugh

A resident of Plaquemine, LA passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her home. Jean was united in marriage to Nolan Pugh, Sr. and to their union Mary Jeanetta and Nolan Pugh, Jr. were born. She was educated in the Iberville Parish School System, retired from the LA Dept. of Revenue, Volunteer with Our Lady of the Lake Senior Companion Program and devoted five years of her time sitting with the elderly and disabled. Jean is survived by a loving and devoted family consisting of her two children, Mary Jeanetta Pugh ( Darryl, Sr.) Snowton and Nolan Pugh, Jr. of Plaquemine, LA.; two grand-daughters, Brandi Pugh (Carl Dunn ) and Nikita Pugh; a grandson, Darryl Snowton, Jr.; one maternal aunt, Evelyn Pugh and uncle, John Henry Joseph, Sr.; three great-great grandchildren, eight sisters, ten brothers, one Godson, several special friends and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alnedia G. Christophe and Mitchell James, Sr.; two brothers, Joseph James Sr. and Donald Ray James; two sisters, Paulette Christophe and Patricia Deloch. Visitation on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Mt. Zion Inner City, 24400 Eleanor Drive, Plaquemine, LA from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. Visitation continues on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Rev.
