I will always remember the days in middle school with Jean, being in art club. Talking about our favorite comics/webcomics, drawing our favorite characters and going on for the hour or so passionately about them and how happy it made us. Having someone like him as a friend in school or a little niche club meant a lot to me. Even the bus ride home we'd have a blast. Jean was very intelligent, kind, passionate, and always willing to do what he could for friends or loved ones. R.I.P Jean.

Jean was one of the most honest people I knew. The man he had become, over the years watching him develop as a person, was a man of great empathy and compassion. Whenever one of the people in our friend group needed a shoulder Jean was always one of the first people to come through and offer words of advice or comfort. He was also one of the funniest people I knew, he could make people laugh just with his personality and being blunt about something. We'll miss you forever Jean.

Humble, smart, caring, and above all, extremely funny.
Rest easy Jean - thank you for everything.

Jean, you always made me laugh at our quirky breakfast table and we rode the bus together for the first two years of high school. You gave your seat up for me and said don´t mention it.
May you rest peacefully and dance to your hearts content they way you did at dances, in the lunchroom. And your artistry was beyond amazing.
I´ll miss you kid

Jean you will always be an honorary stay kid. Our talks at the kitchen table were my favorite part of the week.

Jean loved his cats. They were his entire entire world. And they all love and miss their daddy so much. I've never seen a bond like theirs. We had a stroller for them so we could bring them everywhere and anytime we saw a cat he wanted to save it and bring it home. Those cats were the light of his life.
