I remember Jean as a mentor back sometime around 1978-80. I was going through some rough times and she kept encouraging me not to make wrong choices. She was willing to listen long into the night just so I could unload. I lost track of her over the years but I never lost those memories of her. Been praying for you and your family over this time.

At a time of much darkness in my life, Jean was a bright light. Her infectious smile and enthusiasm always made my day better. From her love of the word quality to purple martins to ham balls to those 'lemon' cookies, Jean conveyed kindness, wisdom and love. Her support of her faith, family and friends emanated from her core.
She will be missed.
My hugs and love to you all.
Please give Rick an extra hug from me.

We were so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. We'll miss seeing her smiling face and are thankful we got to see her more recently at convention. Tom has fond memories of her passing the IAMP presidency torch to him after her year. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. -The Eickman Family

Her smile was always genuine. She encouraged others to be all they could be. Jean was an awesome cook. She loved God and her family and others. Always working to please God and was a good example. Sorry for your loss. May God wrap His arms around the family and comfort their hearts and bring sweet peace. Working at the butcher shop was fun. Good memories of singing and wrapping. Wonderful work environment. Awesome family.

So many wonderful, happy memories in the butcher shop during deer season.. . We were all like family. Jean loved all of us!!! Lots of laughs heard as we worked. She made sure we had food. I wasn't always sure what I was eating but, I didn't lose weight while working there.. Rick was so much fun also. It wasn't a drudgery to go to the butcher shop. It was fun. We worked hard and laughed harder... Jean was a awesome wife, mother and friend. She loved Jesus with all her heart. She had a " Christ like" spirit. She loved everyone ❤. She will be missed. Love and prayers for the family. I love you all..

Tony and I and the whole Hartrich family send our heartfelt sympathy to Jean's pride and joy, her family. We were sure blessed to have known her and so glad we got to visit with her again this last February at the IAMP convention. Will never forget the year she made us all aprons to wear for the suppliers party and how we had to buy a straw hat for the pig! Sending hugs and prayers.

When you met Jean she was just your friend. I have spent the morning looking at old pictures. Pictures from Carbon Hill Bible School...road trips and such. The ones I cherish the most are her and Rick's wedding, my sister Rozella and our friend Martha (Gingerich) Fricke sang, and spent a wonderful day with friends and family What a wonderful friendship/marriage that was, they truly balanced each other out. Rick, my heart goes out to you as you travel this different path, I will continue to send prayers on your behalf. And of course to her children and grandchildren and all the extended family. My heart is aching too.
