Jean Elizabeth Zorn

Jean Elizabeth Corlette Zorn, 77, a resident of Darien, Ga. died Wednesday at her resident in Darien.
Jean was born in McIntosh County to the late James and Edna Davis Corlette. She was the widow of the late Sgt. Ken Zorn.
The first thing Jean would want people to know was she was a Christian. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Darien, Georgia for more than 30 years where she taught Sunday school, served on numerous committees and sang in the choir. She loved gospel music and participating in and attending the "Fifth Sunday Sings." She enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially Sunday lunch at B & J'S Restaurant.
She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending local sporting events involving her family. She loved people and loved life and laughter.
Jean retired from the McIntosh County Board of Education, where she worked in the Todd-Grant Cafeteria.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Ricky Zorn, sister Lillian Lyons and brother Jimmy Corlette.
Survivors are her children, son, Dave Zorn (Dorothy) of Darien, daughter, Teri Zorn (John) of Brunswick, grandchildren, Misti Loder, Ryan Loder (Rachael), Beth Ryals (David), Mason Zorn (Holly), great grandchildren, Kati Zeigler, Arabella Loder, Gabriel Loder, Dalton Ryals, Zoey Ryals, a sister, Rebecca Atwood of Brunswick, two brothers, Joe Corlette and John Corlette both of Darien, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, September 26, 2015 from the Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Dalton Ryals, David Ryals, Kirk Loder, Mitch Foster, Sam Beecher, and Jordan Gardner.

The family will receive friends in the church from 1 till 2 PM Saturday. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Ga. 31525.
