JEANETTE CLARKSTON GAUNCE, age 48, Cynthiana, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at her residence. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, May 24, 1963, to the late John H. and Thelma Bradshaw Clarkston, she was an E.D. Bullard Company employee for twenty years, a member of Lair United Methodist Church and had the third highest grade point average in her high school graduating class. She enjoyed reading, fishing, camping and being a mother to everyone. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Robert Gaunce. She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Gaunce; a son, Wesley (Kinzie) Gaunce and their son, Locke Robert Gaunce, Lexington; a daughter, Amanda (Mark Schimpler) Gaunce and their unborn child, Cynthiana; two brothers, Johnny Mack (Cindy) Clarkston, Covington and Timothy Crit Clarkston, Cynthiana; three sisters, Janet (Terry) Kenney, Carlisle, Carol Miller, Scott County and Mary Ann (Tom) Cordray, Cynthiana; four special friends, Katrina White, Linda Sherwood, Michelle Chasteen and Darlene Moore and a special pet, Miyah. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Ware Funeral Home by Rev. Terry McDuffey and Pastor Troy Miller. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lair United Methodist Church Building Fund, 505 South Elmarch Avenue, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031, Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031 or the Jeanette Gaunce Family Fund, c/o Fifth Third Bank, P.O. Box 728, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031. Active pallbearers will be Russell Gaunce, Jr., Wesley Gaunce, Jeff Gaunce, Nick Gaunce, Todd Johnson, Andrew Cordray, Matt Donohue, Drew Allen and Kethan Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Gregory Cooper, Tom Cordray, David Williams, Eric Pasch, Rick Miller, Johnny Mack Clarkston, Tim Clarkston, Terry Kenney, Bob Gregg, Mark Schimpler, Dr. Jim Rice and Buddy Taylor.
