Jeanette Roney Obituary
October 11, 1937 – January 16, 2015
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the beloved Matriarch of our family. Jeanette is survived by her loving husband Jim; daughters Kim (Tom Duke), and Debbie; grandchildren Daniel (Natalie), Michelle (Rory), and Danielle; great grandchildren Ewan, Evan, Ashton, and Rose; stepfather Allen; sister Virginia; and other family and friends.
A Celebration of Jeanette's Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday March 7, 2014 at Forest Lawn Chapel, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jeanette's name to St Paul's Palliative Care unit, or St James Cottage Hospice both in Vancouver.

To all of you - As you say those last good byes, may special memories of your mother and grandmother encourage you. Your tributes are so special. Just as you feel blessed to have had your mother, so I'm certain she was blessed by your caring and support. I Loved all the times you picked me up when I was down. For all the times you traded your warm smile for my frown.
For all the times you brushed my hair and tucked me into bed Or needed something for yourself and put me first instead.
For all the dreams that we have shared, the tears and laughter too. I Love you Mom with all my heart There's will never be another Mom, as Special as You!

A light from our household gone
a voice we love is stilled,
a place is vacant in our home,
which never can be filled.
We have to mourn the loss of one,
We did our best to save,
Beloved on earth remembered still,
as one being so brave.
It is hard to part with one so dear,
We hoped not the time was near.
Farewell dear one, your life is past,
Our love for you till the end will last.

There is a legend that an angel came to earth to take something beautiful back to Heaven and he took a boquet of roses, a baby's smile, and a Mother's love.
When he reached the Heavenly realms, the roses had withered, the baby's smile had vanished, but the Mother's love endured forever.

We'll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace you always gave us.
We'll always remember you being there for Dad and us through good and bad times no matter what.
We'll always remember you, Mom, because there'll never be anyone to replace you in our hearts and the love we will always have for you.
