Jeanette "Netti" Rhoden Taylor, 82, passed away on Monday afternoon, April 4, peacefully and quietly, surrounded by family, at her home in Jacksonville. She was married for 35 years to Wilton Taylor, 61, who preceded her in death on March 17, 2000. She had 4 children, Jerry Lee York, Tammy Lynn Carroll, Amy Denise Taylor-Towson, and Kevin Taylor (Stillborn, 1969).
Netti was known for her southern cooking, beautiful gardens (flowers and vegetables), the annual "February" Fish Fry, and her love for family and friends. She never missed the July Norton (Grandma) Family Reunion, and remained close to her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by 2 Aunts, Geraldine Murray of North Carolina and Virla Long of Ocala, Florida.
She will be missed by her grandchildren Colby Daniel Taylor and Cheyenne Niccole Sager (Kain), great-grandchildren, Kaybree Faye, Kain Francis Jr., and Braylynn Gabriella, nieces Kathy Rhoden Huff (Sam), Tracy Rhoden Woodard, and Deborah Wilson, great nieces and nephews, Mindy, Billy, Kristin, Lynsay, and Billy.
Jeanette was soft spoken, kind, and a faithful prayer warrior for her church. She never met a stranger, she engaged people with a love and fellowship that was grounded in her walk with Christ, her Lord and Savior. Throughout her life, Jeanette cherished family, including extended family- She will be especially missed by her dearest "life" sisters, Mary, Gwendolyn, Marie, Virginia, Alana, Nani, Evelyn and Peggy. Her family was further extended by her children's half-siblings, Lisa York and Grady York (Laura). During her final year of life, she had the privilege of knowing some wonderful in-home care givers, Diana, Teresa, and her daily companion, Deb.
Jeanette will be remembered lovingly and lives on through her family.

Viewing/Visitation will be at Live Oak Baptist Church, Friday, April 8, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 11:00am, Live Oak Baptist Church, Callahan, Florida
