Jeanne Brosch Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 7, 2025.
The vibrant spirit of Jeanne Roseanne Brosch, age 82, of Eden Prairie, peacefully took its final bow on April 1, 2025, embraced by the love of her family. Born on April 19, 1942, in Tripoli, Iowa, to Paul and Geraldine Martin, Jeanne approached every day with an unbridled zest for life. To say she embraced it fully, hardly captures the depth of her enthusiasm.

Jeanne's heart overflowed with love for her family and friends. Whether cheering from the sidelines at her grandchildren's games, sharing cherished "Funday Mondays" with her granddaughter, marveling at the growth of her expanding family, or simply connecting through heartfelt phone calls, her presence was a constant source of support and joy.

For 29 years, Jeanne shared a deep and abiding love at their Eden Prairie home. Bob remained her steadfast husband and partner, offering unwavering love and support until her very last moments.

As everyone will testify, Jeanne listened deeply, offered kindness freely, and gave generously from her heart. Her creative spark shone brightly, matched by a sharp intellect and a strong, happy spirit. Grounded in her unwavering faith, Jeanne knew who she was and lived her life with a positive outlook that touched all who knew her.

Her memory will be lovingly held by her children: Cindy (Tom) Rupkey, Kristy (Steve) Moore, and Jeff (Leslie) Marschall; her bonus sons, Mychal (Brenna) Brosch and Ryan (Liz) Brosch; her siblings: her cherished twin brother James (Betsy) Martin and Mary Platte; her sister-in-law Mavonne Treptow; her brother-in-law Stanley Brosch; her adoring grandchildren: Daniel Rupkey, Kelly (Mike) Krese, Brandy (Lance Lachica) Link, Troy (Cara Stubenrauch) Marschall, Brett (Ashley) Marschall, Ryan (Kayla) Marschall, Luke Marschall, Sara (Gilbert) Riehm, Sienna Brosch, and Evie Brosch; and her treasured great-grandchildren: Isabella, Luca, Christian, Addison, Madeline, Liam, Waylon, Nora, Jaxon, Logan, and Mason. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jeanne now joins those who went before her, including her late former husbands, Don Mahoney (d. 1966) and Tom Marschall (d. 2007), her parents, and her brothers-in-law Donald Platte and Ebe Treptow.

A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Valley Christian Church, 20270 Iberia Ave, Lakeville, MN. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am, and a reception with a light lunch to continue sharing memories.

In remembrance of Jeanne's love for beauty and her generous spirit, flowers are welcome. For those who wish to honor her memory through charitable giving, donations can be made to ministries close to her heart: Goodsports Slovakia [email: [email protected]] and ReSouled Life [https://www.theresouledlife.org].

We find comfort in the knowledge that our beloved Jeanne is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior, and we eagerly anticipate the day we will be reunited with her.

Jeannie was a friend of my mother-in-law, Colleen Banken. She was so good to her before her passing in 2015. I'm sure they are catching up again... sending prayers to Bob.

I knew Jeanne from the gym. I am a trainer there with her trainer Robin. I got to know her happy smile and we often talked about the Vikings and she loved hearing about my sons and their football games. My sons made her football Christmas cookies last year and thought she was so sweet and full of energy. I will so miss my conversations with her at the gym and her happy face everyday she was there. The gym is not the same without her but her memory will last there forever!
