David Drolet

David A. "Diamond Dave" Drolet, 50, currently of Easton, PA and formerly of Chester, NH died on Friday, June 24, 2016. Born in Haverhill, MA, he was the son of Richard E. and Marie C. (Hogan) Drolet. He was a graduate of Whittier Regional Technical High School, Haverhill, MA. David worked as a heavy machine operator at Tombarello & Sons for a number of years and more recently as a Union laborer at DeLuca Fence of Methuen, Massachusetts. David was a dedicated worker. Family was his greatest joy. He loved spending time with family and friends at his home in Chester, NH where many happy hours were spent at the pool. He loved the beach, the Boston Bruins, Celtics and he was a #1 Patriots fan. He was predeceased by his parents Marie and Richard and his beloved son, Nicholas Drolet who he adored and missed more than words can say. Survivors: He leaves his daughter, Cassandra Bibeau of Lawrence, MA., his siblings Dianne M. Drolet of Lawrence, MA; John P. Drolet of Maine; Paul J. and his wife Sandra Drolet of Haverhill. He also leaves his brother William Drolet and husband Jason Makoske, who have been David's primary caregivers and with whom he spent the last eight months of joy and challenge. He had several nieces and nephews who he adored. Services: The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at The Long Funeral Home, Inc. 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem.
