Jeanne Grinnell Mather, 90, of Sarasota died April 1, 2009.
Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Gulf Gate Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born Oct. 10, 1918, in Seattle, Wash., and came to the Sarasota area over 30 years ago from Princeton, N.J. She was a volunteer treasurer with the local branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A graduate of San Mateo Junior College in San Mateo, Calif., she was a Presbyterian and a member of the Mission Valley Country Club.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 677 N. Washington Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34236 or TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
