My gosh, Mrs Wieme helped me get in touch with my creative side, I was shy and insecure and she showed me how to overcome my fears. I wasn't the best singer in her class but she gave me confidence. I missed her words of wisdom & she loved her tic tac God gained angel..

Mrs. Wieme will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.. I've told my daughter so many stories about her through the years. She was one of the few teachers I truly missed when I graduated. Rest in peace and when I join you some day I'll be looking forward to many more stories.

Mrs. Wieme, words cannot express what you meant to me, and how you helped to mold me into to being who I am today. Not only if I wasn't in your class, I wouldn't have my family now because that is the very class where I met my husband, but your class, your style of teaching, and your warmth, and genuine love and care for us students, had helped in making my decision to attend college for music education and become a music instructor. I am who I am today, in part because of your love, and guidance, and I will never ever forget that, or you! A few years ago I reached out to you to thank you for that, and to tell you that I am a music instructor, and I am so happy I did! Just yesterday I was singing Let there be peace on Earth, one of my solos that when you assigned that solo to me you said to me "I am giving you this solo, not only because you are a great soprano, but this song is meant for you"! I didn't know why yesterday I was singing that song so randomly, but now I know! That is forever "our song" now! I love you "Jeanie Weemee"! RIP

I was new in cliffside and having a rough time adjusting. She made me feel welcome and encouraged me to sing. Vocal music is the only reason I stuck it out and graduated high school. Thank you for your kindness and patience. ( I was a pain in the butt sometimes)

From teaching me how to play the flutophone in the second grade to helping me find and harness my voice as a singer all throughout high school - Mrs Wieme was so much more than a teacher to me. She was a guiding light and friend, most of the fond memories that I have of my years at CPHS include her and being in her presence. She will be truly missed. Sending so much love and strength to her family.

Mrs Wieme was not only a great teacher but a wonderful person who had a gift for bringing out the best in teenagers. Her classroom was my sanctuary during some difficult years. And even though I wasn´t the best singer, she let me join the Ensemble and gave me self confidence.

Ms. Wieme was my music teacher for 4 years. Every year she brought us caroling by her home, trained us for state competition and accompanied the seniors to the prom so we could showcase a song. She attended every graduation for the same reasons choosing the song we'd sing for ensemble . 35 years later I still think of her often and can remember the beautiful arrangements she created herself blending popular songs into mash ups before Glee and Pitch Perfect made it popular. I always adored her, but as an adult educator, speech pathologist and vocologist I can appreciate her all the more. Her dedication to her students resonated with us for years beyond graduation. May she rest in peace and fly high singing with the angels.

Mrs. Wieme was my music teacher in high school CPHS class of 2003. I still
Remember auditioning for ensemble my freshman year and being so nervous, but she always managed to calm those nerves. She always pushed me to get over my fear of performing and I´m forever grateful. Many wonderful memories were made in her class singing all of our favorite tunes. She had such a gift and a heart of gold. I will never forget her. May she rest in peace and my condolences to her family.

The first time I saw Mrs. Wieme, was in 8th grade (1995) when she traveled from the high school with the Ensemble to show case their talents and advertise. I fell in love with her then. A year later I was invited to join the ensemble and make the best memories of high school. Even joining Stephano for dinner once at Mrs. Wieme´s house where I met her beloved husband and cat. I regret having lost touch with her. I know she sings with the angels now, and I am a better person for having known her. Rest in peace Mrs. Wieme

Mrs. Wieme was my vocal instructor at CPHS from 1989-1993. I auditioned the spring of my freshman year for Ensemble and spent the rest of my years there always looking forward to the time I spent with her. She was a true mentor, confidant, and gifted beyond measure. She is and will always be one of the fondest, dearest memories I have of my high school years. We are all better people for being in her presence. My love and condolences to all of you. She was an inspiration. May she rest peacefully

I was a student at CPHS Class of 79 - member of chorus all four years and ensemble for two years. I also took private lessons with Mrs Weime. She was such an important part of my high school years. Her class was always filled with warmth and laughter. Mrs Weime would join us at our concert celebrations She was the teacher you could go to with your problems. I have thought of her quite frequently and fondly. Deepest condolences to all of you. You lost a bright light.
