Jeannine (Valois) Socolosky, 89, of Windsor, wife of the late Bernard E. Socolosky, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born in Woonsocket, RI daughter of the late Stanislas and Gilberte Valois, she lived in Windsor since 1956. She was a Registered Nurse for her career serving at both St. Francis and Mt. Sinai Hospitals. She enjoyed vacations on Cape Cod especially with her grandchildren. She leaves her two sons Stephen (Kathleen) and Paul (Holly Hastings); three daughters Denise Thoren (Stephen), Donna Socolosky, and Teri Mercey (Bill); grandchildren Katie, Erik, Jessica, Joe, Mandy, Victoria, Sarah, Mariah, Cody, and Kyle; and great-grandchildren Kyle, Jr. and Lennon. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a brother Rene Valois. Her family will receive friends Monday, April 17, 2023 from 10-11 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11 AM with a Tribute by the CT Nurses Honor Guard at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor. Burial is in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Windsor Senior Center, 599 Matianuck Avenue, Windsor, CT 06095. I have such awesome memories of Mrs. Socolosky. She was one of best of the Wilson moms! She will be missed, but in everyone´s fondest memories, always. My sincerest, heartfelt condolences to the entire family.
