Jeff LeRoy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 12, 2025.
Jeff S. LeRoy, age 61, transitioned into spirit on July 5, 2025, the day after celebrating his favorite holiday with the people who loved him most. He is survived by his son, Raymond, his daughters, Meagan and Krista, his fiancée, Vicky Petroline, sister, Pam Silhavy, and three nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Rosemary (Harrison) and his older brother, James Jr. The family lived in Bartlett, Ill. where Jeff graduated from Elgin HS and lettered in football. After graduating from Northern Illinois University, Jeff began his career in IT. He proudly spent 25 years at Kraft, ultimately becoming Associate Manager, IT - ERP Application Services. Jeff was a longtime Lakeview resident, where he and Raymond would often walk to breakfast then a Cubs game. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing with Vicky, and eagerly attended all of Raymond's St. Pat's HS football games. Jeff could tell you everything that was wrong with the Bears, but would watch them anyway. Services at Graceland Cemetery are pending.

It has been a pleasure to work with Jeff at Kraft since June 2024 and I was very sorry and frightened by his sudden departure, as he supported me in everything with great lightness and humanity.
We know how difficult this moment is and in my prayers, I ask God to comfort everyone's heart.
Rest in PEACE Jeff!

I had the opportunity to work with Jeff. He was always kind, polite, and willing to help.
I send my sincere condolences to his family. RIP.
